  Welcome to the Ohio chapter of the Physicians for a National Health Program.

Our Mission: Single-Payer National Health Insurance.
We endorse a fundamental change in America's health care: the creation of a comprehensive National Health Insurance (NHI) Program. Such a program, which in essence would be an expanded and improved version of Medicare, would cover every American for all necessary medical care.    

June 30th- Unitarian Universalist's General Assembly endorses single-payer health care. Unitarian Universalist congregations are urged to lobby their representatives to co-sponsor and pass HR 676. "It's time our nation, founded on promoting the common welfare, promoted healthcare for all," - Rev. Lucy Hitchcock Seck of Miami, Fla.    Read.
